Lunch - Junior Choir (DA47)



Do you want to be an anti-bullying ambassador? We have the Princess Diana Charity running a training session in February for a limited amount of students. If you’re up for the challenge and want to make a difference, please pick up an application form from the Yr9 Office or from Miss Brown (Dove students). Trent students collect applications from S&G. Completed applications need to be handed in by the end of January.



Harry Potter Book Night- is coming to de Ferrers on Thursday 1st February in Trent Hall 6-8pm. You will be sorted in to your house and take part in the Fantastic Beasts quiz by J K Rowling; you need to start reading the text book by Newt Scamander to answer all the questions. You can also buy a butterbeer, a chocolate frog and have your photo taken with Errol the owl. It will be a magical night.

Could any student who wishes to attend, please sign up in either LC. Ask Mr Botten or Mrs Massey for the relevant form.



Harry Potter Book Night: come dressed as a witch or wizard or one of your favourite characters or beasts from the films and the best dressed will win prizes!

Waterstones are selling Harry Potter books and merchandise and are offering up to 20% discount.



Fantastic Beasts competition: create your own fantastic beast either design your own or make one from the film. You can draw it or make a model in any materials. Bring your creation on the night and the most fantastic beasts will win prizes. On the night they will form a creature wall and we will enter a competition to try and win a free trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour in Leavesden.  



Ski Austria 2018 - Hoodie requests need to be with Miss Barlow by Wednesday 24th January.  





Dove Book of the Week: "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them - Newt Scamander" by J.K.Rowling. According to Albus Dumbledore, "No wizarding household is complete without a copy." Now Muggles too have the chance to discover what the Puffskein eats and why it is best not to leave milk out for a Knarl. Read it in preparation for the Harry Potter Book Night on 1st February!





Trent Book of the Week: "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - Parts 1 and 2 Playscript" by J.K.Rowling. The official playscript of the original West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn't much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children.While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted.
