Year 7 Geographers...Botanical Gardens photography competition.  Some of you took some amazing (and very creative) photographs of the plants and animals at Botanical Gardens.  Print them off and give them to your Geography teacher by Monday 17th July with your name and teaching group.  All entries will be judged and prizes given for the best ones. Good luck!



Book of the Week - available in the LC today! Navid's Story by Andy Glynne. A real-life account of Kurdish Iranian refugee, Navid, and his journey. Told in Navid's own words, the story highlights the terror and hardship that he and his mother suffered in their long journey to follow his father to a safe place, and the strange feelings that Navid had towards him when they were reunited.

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. 16 year old Starr lives in two worlds: the poor neighbourhood where she was born and raised and her posh high school in the suburbs.
