Basketball Stars - UPDATED
De Ferrers have taken Basketball to the next level today. As some of you may be aware our sixth form team were playing their 'last 64' game today vs TCAT (Telford College of Art and Tech). They were a very disciplined team with excellent individuals... But we were better!
De Ferrers won the tie 81-61. We re now into the last 32 in the Country!
Aiden Hyde scored a steady 41 points with Tom Whitfield scoring 27. It was an outstanding result and there were excellent performances also from Josh Wood, Ben Peacock, Steven Mee, Alex Thompson and Regan Williams.

The de Ferrers 6th form Basketball team have reached the Staffordshire County final for the second year in a row. They are currently the reigning champions and demonstrated why last night by crushing King Edward VI Lichfield 85-30.
The highlight of the evening was Tom Whitfield's one stride dunk - he must have springs in his shoes! The final is also going to be held at de Ferrers this year so it would be great if you could come and give them some support for this tremendous achievement.
