Preparing for examinations and assessments

In this section you will find a video outlining some of the most time efficient and effective revision strategies. The video also outlines why these strategies are effective based on research around how learning and remembering takes place.  

Ideally, sit with your child and watch the video. This will allow you to discuss their approach to assessment preparation. The video has also been split into parts as we are fully aware that you may not have time to watch it all in one sitting (the sections of video are simply parts of the full presentation). 

To accompany the video presentation there is a support document that outlines each revision strategy along with other considerations to maximise the success of revision sessions. The document also contains how to start a study plan for revision sessions.
