Year 13 results success
Congratulations to all of our Year 13 students
Students at The de Ferrers Sixth Form Campus today received their hard earned results. Destinations include universities around the country along with the RAF, Rolls Royce and Nursing.
This year, following the cancellation of exams, grades were awarded through a process of teacher assessed grades, against a national standard and approved and awarded by the exam boards. The government is not publishing performance data for any schools or colleges this year due to the varying impact of the pandemic.
Kathy Hardy, Principal said:
“We are immensely proud of all the work and achievements of our students, especially after such another difficult and disrupted year. Our staff have worked tirelessly to ensure students are all able to progress onto successful next steps, and we look forward to seeing and hearing about their achievements in the future.”
This was also echoed by Ian McNeilly, Chief Executive of the de Ferrers Trust.
“The last two years have been difficult for many people across society, including those working in education. These grades and the success stories behind them are a reflection of the hard work put in by students, teachers and other staff.
