Courses
Choosing whether to study an A Level or BTEC/CTEC programme can be a tough decision to make. The main difference between these courses is that A Levels are assessed through examinations with some providing coursework modules, whilst BTEC/CTEC courses are more coursework based, with some practical assessments. At de Ferrers students can choose a pathway of solely A Level, BTEC or CTEC qualifications or a combination of all three. Each subject is allocated 5 hours of teaching time with homework and independent study in addition to this.
