UPDATE: CROSSING PATROL - PARKING ISSUES ON SCHOOL CROSSING POINTS ON ROLLESTON ROAD

23rd September 2019

We have been contacted by our school crossing patrols who operate on Rolleston Road/Harehedge Lane/Bitham Lane, regarding the disruption and danger caused by some parents dropping children off at the road side and parking without consideration to the patrols and children who need to be crossed. When approached, in some cases abuse has been directed at the crossing patrol person, which is unacceptable.

Please find attached a letter from the police to clarify these issues.

Please can you help with our Vacancy on Harehedge Lane for a School Crossing Patrol (E904x)?

We desperately need a school crossing patrol here and welcome anyone interested in becoming a school crossing patrol. This is a term time job, with paid school holidays interested persons  can ring me direct for an informal chat – Caroline Pegg 07773 791 502 .
