The de Ferrers Academy offers a comprehensive Careers Programme aligned with the Government’s Careers Strategy. The programme helps students connect their learning to future opportunities by developing their understanding of career pathways, further education, and employment options.
The Academy is committed to supporting students to make well-informed and realistic decisions, enabling successful transitions to the next stage of their education, training, or employment.

Validation and evaluation of CEIAG programme
Our careers programme is evaluated, analysed and reviewed using a variety of methods, including:
- One to one guidance interviews
- Careers surveys
- Staff and student feedback
- Destination data
- Post intervention evaluation
- This data provides us with information to prove and improve the effectiveness of our current careers offer.
The de Ferrers CEIAG programme was reviewed in July 2026.
